So after much debating with myself, I’ve decided I’m taking a break from this blog. In recent months I’ve found myself becoming increasingly distracted with a new venture, a food blog. It’s a passion I’ve thought about pursuing for a while and there truly is no time like the present. I won’t tell you too much about this blog as let’s face it if you are reading this it is unlikely that you are my audience. The premises behind the blog is to empower novice cooks/bakers to try new recipes and use up the leftover ingredients decreasing food waste. I will place a link here once the blog is setup.
Taking a break doesn’t have to be a bad thing
Rather than spreading myself too thin and juggling too much, which is something I find myself doing ALOT, I thought best to put this blog on hold. At least while I set up my new blog although this could possibly be a permanent thing and that isn’t a bad thing.
Taking a break is something I think we all need to do every once and a while and I don’t mean just going on holiday. Well, I’m sure we could all do with one of them right now but I mean not setting such high standards for ourselves. Not giving ourselves too much to do.
Every now and then we need to take a step back. Think about it as spring cleaning our minds and lives. Think about what is important to you and prioritise. Letting go of something isn’t failing it is in fact succeeding in knowing what you want. Something that is much harder than we think.
So, for now, I would like to say thank you for taking the time in reading my blog. I’ll be honest I have been terrible at looking at who, if anyone, has been reading it but at the end of the day I did this blog for me and it has done its job!
